Business models

The circular economy requires new ways to organise businesses and restructure their value creation and propositions. It involves a rethinking of business models and their interactions with design, users and systems.

 

The leading research question that captures these different strands and guides the business perspective on the circular economy is: How to create business value by circular provisioning?

 

To answer this question, we will develop insights on how businesses can obtain value in a circular business context, how the circular business models should be designed and what role IT can play in enabling the business’ internal and external value creation.
